Diwali Dhamaka

This Diwali, we decided to go to Indore to be with Nana Nani.
Tanu mama also joined us...

I was in favour of a pollution free Diwali, but Nanaji had already purchased stuff for me. What could I do? Nanaji also gave me his walking stick... which I used to light the crackers, and be safe.

I enjoyed thoroughly. Looks like Dadduna also had a good time

We also had some serious work to do. Like drafting a wedding card for Tanu Mama.

It was good that I was there to give inputs.

What would they do without me? Anyways, it got done soon and then I started with my caricatures. Folks believe its quite abstract!

Papi aaji also dropped in. She was the lady who delivered me into this world, you know.
We share a special equation.

A special modeling session was organised and I tried some interesting poses.

I especially like this one. Why? Because I am wearing pink!

Laxmi Pooja was special. I wore a sari.

I helped the seniors in the conduct of the Pooja

Quite a solemn occasion, huh?

So solemn that I decided to give mammunya a huggie

Special moments with Mammunya and Dadduna

Women in sarees...
Post Pooja, I was famished. Ate a couple of special Indori pedas.
With Tanu Mama

I liked the relaxed atmosphere post Pooja
Women in sarees...

The Bima Nagar gang! A happy one :-)

Matheran trip

I took Dadduna and Mammunya to Matheran for a couple of days, before Diwali holidays. The idea was to chill. And chill we did!!

We took it easy after reaching our hotel... it was a heritage hotel. Everything was heritage...including the bathrooms, fans..... :-)

Dadduna went to fight with the hotel people for a room change, while I did some sketches

I am getting better at it everyday

I can now draw human caricatures, with eyes, nose and lips in the right places :-)

We met the 'Master' family at Matheran and they were cool! Thats me with Priyanka, Airyaman, and Arnavaz aunty!

Priyanka and me bonded quite well!

The families did a couple of points together.... we went to Echo Point, where me and Priyanka yelled a lot! I called our Dora and you know what! She responded!

I called for Boots also...

Dadduna also acted as my horse. The good part about this horse was that he listened to my instructions quite well. I just had to pull his ears for getting his attention. And he sang my favourite songs like 'Nagaada baja'

I took a brief nap also on the way....

Me, Mammunya and Dadduna

Day 2 was a little disappointing. It was raining cats and dogs, and monkeys as well!!
I had to sit in my room, sip tea, and generally relax

Good that Dadduna carried his laptop. I watched my favourite 'Blue Doggy' CD

And Mammunya read me a couple of good stories. I especially like the story about the old lady in China...

The return journey was very cool & misty! And the view was terrific. We took a couple of breaks enroute...

Saw a couple of waterfalls....
Its not what you think!
I was just playing with the water :-)
And guess what, when we stopped for lunch, who did we meet again! The 'Master family'!! We had a great time in the play area....
Post lunch, I slept off in the car, and hence the story ends here.

My 3rd birthday- The evening 'do' @ Pizzahut

I was so excited about the evening 'do', that I could hardly sleep. However, I did catch a small nap, so that I could be at my best for the evening.... And you know what! I wore my special pink party dress!!

In Pizzahut waiting for the guests...

Rupali didi was the lady who managed the show. I had seen her in one of the earlier dos' here, & had strongly recommended her name to mamma daddy...

We warmed up by shakin a leg on some good numbers like 'Pappu can't dance saala', 'Mauja hi mauja', 'Nagaada baja'...

It was good fun, dancing with balloons!!

Rupali didi ensured that the adults were not left out of the fun activities. We played musical chairs...

Look at Shruti did trying to balance herself on daddy :-))
Mamma daddy had arranged a special puppet show for me & my friends.

The monkey was really funny!

I just could not stop giggling :-))

I think that the seniors enjoyed it as much. My good friend in yellow (Sharvil ) was almost rolling on the floor!

His mother was equally entertained.

Now we come to better things! I had a big surprise waiting for me. Mamma had specially ordered for a 'Dora' cake!!

I loved the 'Happy birthday' song, the candles, and the boisterous Pizzahut boys who sang with a lot of enthusiasm.

Me & Sharvil. We fight quite a lot, but we like each other also.

Special moments with daddy mamma, and daddy's daddy and mamma

And my big family. Usha bua and Shruti didi are also there.
Here you see Tanu mama and Bhakti didi (these days she is my best friend...lets see how long can she retain this title).
Thank you all, for making my birthday so nice. I am already looking forward to my next one!!

My 3rd birthday- Celebration @ Just Kiddin

I would like to broadly divide this fundoo day into two fun parts- celebration at my school, and the party at Pizzahut!

4 Sep was really special!! I woke up to see a lot of activity around me. Folks were smiling and they told me that today was a big day for me. I had turned 3!!

The occasion demanded that I dress accordingly. This is me in my school party dress!!

Nana Nani were also at home to celebrate. Made the day even more special :-)

Mamma accompanied me to school, where I cut the first cake. Blowing candles was fun!

And eating it too :-)

Then, all of us got down to real business, which was to eat cake, snacks, and all that yummy stuff....

Me with my friends!! Akshar and Anoushka

I got to do extra rounds in my favourite car. Thank God for these privileges!!

Me with my favourite teachers...Nitika ma'm and Sheetal ma'm

I got a special 'star' by Nitika ma'm
What a start to an exciting 3rd birthday!!

Pihu with her best friends

Potty time = Reading time

Sometimes I need my own private space for serious reading

Toys or books? It's a no-brainer!

After a long day, I like to unwind with some simple reading. Math, logical reasoning etc. are best done in the mornings.

OhmyGawd! The story is getting interesting!

Weekends are best spent at Crossword :-)

Monsoon blues

Will this monsoon be a good one?
Will L&T Finance businesses be adversely affected? Will the retail sales & rural finance be able to sustain its good run for another year? What about transport equipment group?

These are questions which need some serious pondering… I share daddy’s concern.
