Hinglish is a phunny language

So says Daddy!

Pihu is an excellent communicator, and has a good command over 2 languages, Hindi and Marathi. However, she is new to English, and has been introduced to the same in her nursery. Her teachers are very positive about her but have asked us to get her more comfortable with the language...

So, we try to speak to her in English and she does respond with a mix of 2-3 languages, when she is at a loss for words :-)

The other day, we were at a friend's place for dinner.
The host started the ritual of asking guests for their preferred poison. Yours truly chose beer.

Pihu was quite intrigued by the colour and very obviously wanted to have a swig. The influencer that she is, she has a way of getting around to the question in a very roundabout way :-)

The dialogue goes like this...
Pihu: 'Daddy, what is this?'
Daddy: 'It's a medicine'
Pihu: 'Ganda hain na'?
Daddy: 'Yes' :-)
She then comes and sits close to it.
Pihu: 'Can I 'pee'?

PS: This was written a couple of years back, and I had forgotten to post it...
